I was just curious if there is some gadget that would allow me to do this.

One Response to “Is It Possible To Attach A 55mm Fisheye Holga Lens To A Nikon D40?”

If you have a 55 mm to 52 mm step down ring, you can probably do it. That is if the Holga fisheye is an add-on lens.
Take your camera, 18-55 mm lens and the Holga into a camera store (not an electronics store) and have them try using the adapter … if the back of the fisheye does not touch your lenses front element, you then only have to take a test shot.
If you don’t already have a Holga fisheye, look on Amazon for Add-on fisheyes … they cost between $40 and $60 depending upon the brand, although shooting with Holga’s plastic lens could make for some very unusual images.
