Nikon SLR Lenses

I have nikon d80 and wish to buy a lens.
should i go for the 18-200mm which everyone talks about or 18-135mm. the price is a big difference, but besides that i dont really know which is best? thanks for u help.

I have a Nikon D40X digital SLR camera and want a new lens for it. However, It is more of just a hobby (not professional). I only have the original 18-55mm lens that came with it and want another (with more zoom probably). I can’t spend a whole lot for it, but I’d like a practical lens that’s good quality. I’m pretty new to DSLR cameras, i know the D90 has video, but i’m buying this more for close up/micro shots and general photography…Price is pretty much the same on Amazon
Is the 18-105mm lens a good lens?

I am getting a D60 soon and would like to take wide angle pictures. The lens it comes with has 18-55mm..is this considered wide angle. Or do I need to find one around 12mm? Are there any cheap wide angle lens?

I’ll be using it to photograph detais of old farm machinery and tools (not for bugs or flowers). I have the Nikon 35-70mm 2.8 which is good for close ups, but doesn’t go to 1:1 macro.
